Highlands Chauffeured Hire Cars has been looking after journeys across the Southern Highlands since 2005.
When Jason took on the business, the fleet consisted of three cars and two buses. He saw the opportunity to build something the region genuinely needed: a private transport service people could depend on, run by local people who cared about every journey they accepted.
Today, the fleet is considerably larger and the journeys take us throughout the Southern Highlands, Sydney, Canberra, Wollongong and beyond. But this is still a small, personally run business at heart. The people answering the phone know the bookings. The drivers know the roads. And when we say we will be there, we understand how much that promise matters.

A business does not grow from five vehicles to a fleet capable of carrying one passenger or fifty-seven by accident. It happens one booking at a time.

Over the years, we have looked after thousands of journeys: weddings and wine tours, airport and cruise-terminal transfers, corporate travel, medical appointments, celebrations and the everyday trips that simply need to go properly.
The fleet has changed — none of those original five vehicles remain in service today, every one of them has been upgraded since. The business has grown. The responsibility we feel for every journey has not.

Jason owns and leads Highlands Chauffeured Hire Cars. He has guided the growth of the business from its original five vehicles into the fleet it is today, while remaining closely involved in its day-to-day operation.
From vehicles and drivers to complex movements involving multiple pickup points, Jason is rarely far from what is happening. His approach has always been simple: plan carefully, communicate clearly and never accept a journey unless we are committed to seeing it through properly.

Jessica Jade, Jess B and Kerstin make up the office team behind the bookings.
They are the people working through your quote, confirming flight numbers, checking passenger and luggage requirements, arranging child seats, preparing schedules and helping when plans change.
For a wedding, that might mean coordinating several vehicles and dozens of guest movements. They do not simply enter bookings into a system. They get to know what each journey requires.
Our Drivers
Behind the office is a trusted team of professional drivers, including people who have been with HCHC for close to a decade.
They know the roads, the venues, the airport terminals and the properties hidden at the end of long Southern Highlands driveways. More importantly, they understand that different passengers need different things.
Sometimes that means quiet conversation and a comfortable journey. Sometimes it means helping with luggage, allowing a little more time, or making sure someone reaches the right entrance.
Every journey is treated as its own commitment.
Your booking is planned in advance
We are a private, pre-booked chauffeured service — not an on-demand taxi or shared shuttle. Your journey is arranged around the information you provide, with the driver and vehicle allocated accordingly.
The details are checked before the day
Passenger numbers, luggage, pickup addresses, flight details, child seats, mobility considerations and vehicle access can all affect how a journey should be arranged. We ask about these details because getting them right beforehand makes the day itself feel effortless.
The right vehicle is allocated
Our fleet ranges from luxury sedans and SUVs to vans, minibuses, 24-seat buses and a 57-seat coach — allowing us to recommend a vehicle based on the people, luggage, route and occasion, not simply whichever car happens to be available. Every confirmed booking is allocated its own vehicle, so your place is reserved.
We take responsibility for showing up
People book us because the journey matters. It may be the beginning of a holiday, the morning of a wedding, an important appointment or the last trip home after a celebration. Whatever the occasion, our role is the same: arrive prepared, look after the people in our care and complete the journey properly.
Because we run a larger fleet than most, we’re often able to accommodate last-minute bookings too — we can’t promise it every time, but we’ll always do our best.
When you call us, you reach the people looking after your journey.
During office hours, your call comes directly to the people managing the bookings. Outside office hours, the office line diverts to our mobiles. If there is an urgent issue with an upcoming or current journey, someone from our team can answer and do everything reasonably possible to help.
Flights are delayed. Plans change. We don’t want you left wondering who to call.
Guests miss a pickup message. A return time moves unexpectedly. We cannot control every change, but there is a real person at the other end of the phone — someone who knows the business and cares about finding a solution.
We may have a larger fleet now, but we are still a small business in the ways that matter.

We are based in Moss Vale and work throughout the Southern Highlands. We know the winding roads, the rural properties, the wedding venues, the accommodation houses and the places where a larger vehicle cannot safely turn around. We know that a pickup from a country property may require more planning than its street address suggests.
That local knowledge helps us build more realistic schedules, recommend suitable vehicles and anticipate the details that are easy to miss when somebody does not know the area. The Southern Highlands is not simply where we operate. It is our home.
